New Leaf Behavioral Health is a Raleigh-based mental health practice founded in 2007. We provide accessible, high-quality counseling and behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout North Carolina.
We believe good mental health care starts with good relationships. That applies not only to the people we serve, but also to the people who work here. We have built New Leaf to be a place where clinicians can do meaningful work, develop professionally, and have the support they need to provide excellent care.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for people who want to be part of a thoughtful, collaborative practice and who care about both the quality of their work and the people they work alongside.
Our Values
Clinical quality matters. We believe people deserve thoughtful, ethical, evidence-informed care. We take our clinical work seriously and support our clinicians in continuing to grow.
People matter. Our clients aren't numbers, and neither are our employees. We try to create an environment where people are treated with respect, consideration, and professionalism.
Collaboration makes us better. Mental health work can be isolating. We value consultation, shared knowledge, and the opportunity to learn from colleagues with different experiences and perspectives.
Accessibility matters. We believe high-quality mental health care should be available to people from a wide range of backgrounds and circumstances.
Keep growing. New Leaf is still evolving. We encourage people to bring ideas, identify problems, and help us make the practice better.
Our Culture
We want New Leaf to feel like a professional practice, not a collection of people working independently under the same roof.
Our clinicians have their own practices, specialties, and approaches, but they also have colleagues to turn to. We encourage consultation, collaboration, and sharing ideas rather than expecting people to figure everything out on their own.
We also recognize that doing good clinical work requires more than clinical skill. Our administrative team handles the systems, scheduling, billing, credentialing, and other operational work that allows clinicians to spend more of their time focused on clients.
We're serious about the work, but we don't believe work has to feel unnecessarily serious all the time. We value people who are thoughtful, dependable, curious, and good to work with.
As New Leaf grows, we're intentional about maintaining a workplace where people know one another, can ask for help, and have opportunities to contribute beyond their individual caseload.
Why join us?
Do meaningful work with real support. You'll have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of clients while working alongside people who understand the work you're doing.
Practice with flexibility. Many of our clinical positions offer a hybrid model, giving clinicians a combination of in-office connection and the flexibility of working from home.
Keep developing professionally. We support ongoing learning and professional development, and we value clinicians who want to continue building their skills.
Don't do everything yourself. Our administrative team supports scheduling, billing, credentialing, and other operational responsibilities so clinicians can focus on clinical work.
Work with other professionals. New Leaf brings together clinicians with different backgrounds, specialties, and perspectives. Consultation and collaboration are part of how we work.
Build something with us. We're continuing to develop new programs, services, and ways of serving our community. People who enjoy contributing ideas and improving how things work have room to do that here.
